Dia de las culturas

Today was culture day here in Costa Rica - celebrating Christopher Columbus' 4th journey where he stepped foot in Costa Rica. Each class at Sojourn Academy and a few from the Spanish Language Academy set up a tables with items from different countries. A celebration was held in the gym which included dances, a "fashion" show of the different typical dresses of the various countries and Revelation 7:9&10 was read in 12 different languages. "After this I looked and there before me was a great nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. They cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne and to the lamb."

  5. Amazing! Our church does short-term missions over in Costa Rica with a program called Abraham's Project. We are actually sending over a team in January! Are you full-time missionaries there?

  6. Quill,

We are not permanent here in Costa Rica. We are on our way to Shell Ecuador. We do know lots of permanent missionaries here in Costa Rica. I would be glad to try to get you connected with them.
