We are feeling so blessed right now!

We have had 4 new monthly supporter come on board with us over the past 2 weeks and have met many new people who are interested in our journey. With the new supporters we are now at 63% of our goal.

We are also looking at the house NOT selling as a blessing right now because we are enjoying the beautiful weather and watching the birds and baby turkeys wander in our yard. 6 kids are currently chasing each other in circles in the front yard and I don't have to worry about them being too close to the road.

We, of course are still looking for the right person to love/buy our house but we are also confident that God will provide what we need when we need it, so no need to worry about it.

We are diligently trying to learn Spanish and are spending 1.5 hours each night conjugating verbs. I know it sounds really exciting!!!! By doing this we hope to cut down our time at language school and therefore cut down our 1 time expenses as well.

Thank you for your prayers and continued support!

  1. yea!!!!! see you soon!!!!!

  2. Thanks for sharing the blessings found in the "delay". We appreciate your insights. God has us in His hands.

  3. I just wanted to share that there are truly blessings in the "waiting period". When John & I knew that we were to go to Romania in Oct. 2005, being a farmer and since we were going to help an orphanage with their farm to increase milk to help raise the production to produce milk, make cheese etc., John felt we should be there by Feb. 2006 to get things set up for Spring planting. We came home & started the process of raising support. Feb. came & went. He fidgeted a bit by May, but, we had not had the green light from God. So, we just kept talking about it, reading up on Romania, anything that fueled our fire to focus forward. In June we had to move from our home into a tiny, tiny this time we knew we were leaving first week of July. That last month, I had the opportunity to lead an older gentleman we had known for about 8 years to the Lord while he was in the hospital. He had rejected all conversation about Jesus before this day. It was the only time I had to get to the hospital and two days later he went home to be with the Lord! Also, 2 weeks before we left, a young Jewish woman (now living in our old home) called and wanted me to visit (she knew of our going and was "curious"). Through many ?? and answers and prayers and tears, she came to know Jesus as Messiah. THEN, that evening she led her 3 small children and husband to the Lord! Oh, I want to encourage you that the "waiting" is well worth it. On another note, when the Lord told us it was time and we bought our tickets, we only had a guarantee of 50% of our support. He said go, we went. For over 2 years He met every need physically and financially. We lived quite well and it was the most contented years we had known. Phil 4:6 Be anxious FOR NOTHING... It was exciting and exhilarating to see Him supply.
You are following me on Twitter and I have a blog. If you have thoughts you would like to discuss, I'd be very happy to talk with you. May God bless you in all you do and put your hands, heart and mind to! Praise His Name!
